As someone who remembers a time before the internet, I truly believe in the power of print. As a photographer, I have been creating books in some form for as long as I can remember. A book provides a tactile experience and fosters a sense of engagement with the content. A good photobook is not merely a collection of images; it's a carefully curated and edited narrative. The elements of story, flow, and connection are essential.
This website showcases examples of books and zines that I have made myself or, when larger runs have been required, they have been printed by the fantastic team at Mixam. Some handmade books and zines are one-of-a-kind prototypes, while others may evolve into more polished editions over time. Occasionally, a piece might simply remain as a one-off. However, if an item generates enough interest, I would be happy to consider extending its availability.
